The Americana Floor Lamp was designed by Miguel Milá in the mid-1960s to honor George Hansen’s 1950s lamp collection. Its distinctive feature is a white linen lampshade and satin nickel structure with a rotating arm. The Americana collection has a timelessly elegant design, making it the perfect companion for reading or intimate conversations, and matches either modern or classical interiors. The Americana floor lamp lights up any corner both literally and figuratively. And it looks stunning when paired with the Americana table lamp. Upon special request, it is possible to adapt the product for areas exposed to saline conditions.

Santa & Cole was founded in 1985 by three designers – Nina Masó, Gabriel Ordeing Cole, and Javier Nieto Santa, with a vision of improving design for everyday life. Two years later, they surprised the market with new stylish lamps that were out of the trends of that time, it was something completely unusual. The enthusiasm with which the brand’s products were received inspired the creative team to further exploit. Santa & Cole experts were actively involved in the renovation of Barcelona for the 1992 Olympics. Many solutions that were then implemented on the streets of the city were included in the Santa & Cole catalog and gave an incentive to develop the outdoor direction further.
Today, the Santa & Cole catalog includes lighting fixtures for the home, elements of garden lighting, furniture for living rooms, all kinds of furniture for the city – designer benches, tables, fences, flower pots, drinking fountains, bicycle parking and more
