Lavitta Table belongs to the beautiful collection of Scandinavian dining tables in which the traditional Finnish craftsmanship encounters modern design. This dining table has an eye-catching rounded top with four slanted, conical legs. Fits perfectly into any interior style. This dining table seats up to 4 people thus make it an ideal dining table for small spaces. Made of form-pressed plywood with a veneer surface. Poiat is the design studio of Antti Rouhunkoski and Timo Mikkonen, which specializes in interior architecture, product design, design concepts, and consulting. The designers had met while studying at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki and established Poiat in 2010.
Poiat has designed the Coupé shelves for Woud, the Q2 housing concept for Sunhouse, and several interiors for private clients and companies. The studio’s Lavitta collection was selected as the best furniture of the year at the Finnish Muoto design awards gala in 2015.
