Lavitta bench is a stylish alternative to standard dining chairs. Inspired by traditional Finnish craftsmanship encounters modern design. Bench represents a new interpretation of the countryside classical outdoor furniture, where the quality of prime material remains as much important as it was in the early 1900s. The bench has a simple and elegant rectangular top that is made of solid oak, with slanted, conical legs. Lavitta benches are suitable for any interior from private homes to public interiors. It also makes a useful seat in a hallway or larger porch. This dining bench seats up to 3 people. For a perfect pairing, try together with a dining table or chairs of the same collection.

Poiat is the design studio of Antti Rouhunkoski and Timo Mikkonen, which specializes in interior architecture, product design, design concepts, and consulting. The designers had met while studying at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki and established Poiat in 2010.
Poiat has designed the Coupé shelves for Woud, the Q2 housing concept for Sunhouse, and several interiors for private clients and companies. The studio’s Lavitta collection was selected as the best furniture of the year at the Finnish Muoto design awards gala in 2015.
